There are a wide variety of hiking routes in this area including the GR7 which takes you through the Sierra de Grazalema. October to the end of May are ideal months for hiking or cycling which is another popular sport in Spain. If you only want to take an easy route the old drovers road that follows along side the railway giving you the option to catch the train back!

This area is ideal for touring as the scenery is spectacular and there is very little traffic. We have secure off road parking.

A bird watchers haven with eagles & vultures often seen from the terrace. Of course the excellant clarity of light here also makes photography very worthwhile.

Nearby along an old roman road is the 'House of Stone' formed from carving the centre out of a rock dating back to 6th & 7th Centuries A.D. it has interesting detailed carvings. There are local caves 'Cuevas de la Pileta' with paintings dating back 25,000 years also of interest is the 'Cueva de Gato'of which the entrance can be enjoyed leaving the interior to experienced potholers with it's underground river system!
