We are very fortunate that Cortes de la Frontera is still very much 'real Spain', a very friendly traditional 'Pueblo Blanco' with it's own bullring. With the back drop of the 'Sierra de Grazelema' & bordering the 'Alcornocales Parque Natural'

The very pretty station of Estacion de Cortes with it's single track railway gives the opportunity to leave the car behind & visit neighbouring pueblos, go for a wander, lunch & return 'home'! You also have the opportunity to take the train to Granada, just over 3 hours away, or Seville & stay for a night or two taking only light luggage, leaving the rest with us. We will take you to the station (5 minutes) & pick you up on your return.

Ronda is set up on cliff tops with spectacular views, Spains oldest bull ring & the amazing 'El Tajo Gorge' dividing the centre. In this area there are rugged limestone landscapes & gorges interspersed with white villages & a growing number of vineyards of which there is one situated next to us. Gaucin is one of the local villages with a lovely mountain top setting with views to Gibraltar & across the Mediterranean to the Riff Mountains of Morocco.

A visit to the coast is less than an hour away, a little longer for Gibraltar or Estepona or one & a half hours to Puerto Banus or Marbella.
